It was the worst storm in NZ history ,and still people came out for Hone Harawira's Celebrity Roast, and Ezekiel 33 were front and centre capturing it all on camera.
Whilst I personally don't like politics, I'm thankful this night was far from that. What unfolded was a great night out where local community networks could unite and come together for a night out of fun and friendly banter. Obviously they came for one reason, that being a once in a lifetime opportunity to see Hone Harawira being served up on the chopping board, and the Roasting team did a great job of that.
Of course being a Celebrity Roast, Hone Harawira had his fair share of Celebrities with the infamous John Tamihere, Dale Husband & Vapi Kupenga on his Roasting line up. These guys did an awesome job and had the room laughing. |

Soaring on top of the World - Sweet & Sour Dance Crew flew back into Auckland this morning at 6.30am. Sporting their new title "2008 World Hip Hop Champions" and their major BLING GOLD medals. This has truly been one of those amazing success stories of youth reaching for the stars and following their dreams and aspirations, driven by passion and purpose. For us at Ezekiel 33 - What blessed us most about this day was to hear the Leader of SAS, Hadleigh Pouesi state that this achievement was made possible because of God's hand upon their lives. Hearing such a bold statement like this coming from our youth displays a real strength of character, and we at Ezekiel 33 have to agree - these fine young men definately have "G" factor going on!
