 Redefining race relations in New Zealand at The Bastion Point 30th Commemorative Tribute!
Thirty years on from the events at Bastion Point in 1977, this significant milestone went down in Maori history as one of the most famous and emotionally charged protests this country has ever seen!
Taiawa Harawira, Chairperson of Ezekiel 33 joined with the leaders of Aotearoa for the Bastion Point's 30 years Commemorative Tribute at Orakei Marae. This event drew hundreds of people from all four corners of our great land.
Major leaders joined together, and stood together - it was a day of building bridges and redefining moments for race relations in New Zealand!
