Ezekiel 33 had the honour of joining with Westfield Westcity in hosting the Sweet & Sour Welcome Home show held on Friday 22nd August 2008.

This homecoming event was to acknowledge Sweet & Sour's huge achievement in the performing arts fields.

Their story has been a journey of turning vision into reality and winning the 2008 World Hip Hop Champions Title.

Hundreds of fans came in from all around Waitakere City to pack out Westcity to see their favourite local hip hop group perform. Flying their "clean green" colours - SAS turned up the heat and showed us "why they were Number 1".

Waitakere City's Deputy Mayor Penny Hulse came to support the event, and confirmed Council's decision to make SAS "Youth Ambassadors" for the city. Ezekiel 33 couldn't agree more and give this decision the BIG THUMBS UP!!!!

Another major supportor of Sweet and Sour are The Trusts Charitable Foundation. Their represenative Ami Chand joined Ezekiel 33's Event Organiser, Stephanie Harawira at their homecoming event.

Also a big ups to the Westcity Security Teams, and the Henderson Police who supported this event to ensure our communities and our crowds were safe.

These amazing group of girls are the latest up and coming dancers - who are passionate about performing and are every bit world class talent!

As event organiser's - we get to meet, and know alot of very talented groups.

Over the years - as these same groups come to perform at our events, we have had the priviledge of watching these groups grow up on our stages. To see these kids grow, develop and hone their performances has been a real blessing to us at Ezekiel 33.

This same blessing is shared with the thousands upon thousands of families and youth who regularly attend the Ezekiel 33 events!
