“WATCHMEN TEEN FASHION AWARDS” “Pimp My Kakahu”
Ezekiel 33 recognize the huge array of talented young men and women in our communities. The “Watchmen Fashion Awards” is a platform for those emerging new talents to put their creative flair to the “Watchmen Catwalk!
Each year, the search is on for the most promising and creative new fashion designer. The Ezekiel 33 Trust proudly launch the “Watchmen Teen Fashion Awards 2006” at it’s two day event “Flava Out West “ & Oceania Extravaganza Festival.
For those of you who consider yourself a fashion designer then we urge you to put your best creation or creations forward! We encourage you to develop your own style and self-expression!
“The Watchmen Teen Fashion Awards” will be showcased on Saturday 25th November 2006, Parrs Park, Glen Eden at the “Flava Out West” Event at 1pm.
Entry criteria:  Ezekiel 33 Trust's Watchmen Teen fashion Awards
- Up to 3 entries per person!
- Maori Fashion Theme
- Use of natural fibres and materials
- The collection can include womenswear and menswear
- Teen Age: 13yrs to 21yrs
- Entrants must be the originator of the submitted entry!
Judging Criteria:
Each entry will be judged on:
- Appropriateness of design and fabrics
- Presentation
- Cut & Finish
- Originality, Creativeness, Innovation
Prizes: (subject to change)
1st prize
Framed Maori Toanga
Maori Bouquet
$ 300 cash
All entrants receive: Certificate and Bouquets
Entrys:
All entry forms must be received by 1st November 2006.
Garments must be received by: 15th November 2006.
All designers to provide their own models and descriptive commentary
for garments entered.
All Entrants must meet prior to event : 11am, Saturday 18th November,
