The Ezekiel 33 Trust is experiencing an increase in opportunities to help the community.

Here are some situations;

1) Premises for Social and Community services

The Ezekiel 33 Trust has heard that at least one food bank and social services provider is closing down some of its operations. The Ezekiel 33 Trust sees the value in continuing to provide these services to the needy members of the community, and is endeavoring to do what it takes to keep things going.

This means that we will need some more staff, desks and other furniture, and computers. Not only that, we will need a much bigger premises, which needs office space, a loading bay, and several other facilities.

2) Stage, Sound, Lighting, Transport for Events

The Ezekiel 33 Trust has had an increase the number of community events that it puts on each year, and increased the number of locations. The number of locations looks like it will not only increase in future, but will also extend to places far away.

The cost of hiring stages and gear like sound and lighting, is a regular and substantial cost for each event. The number of events has increased to the point that buying or obtaining the equipment, is cheaper than about one years equipment hire. So it makes sense to get the equipment, especially if there is a place to store it. Also this will save time when going to other locations where the sound, stage, and lighting service providers are unknown, or even maybe there are no sounds, etc. Having the gear on a trailer, or truck makes the show much more mobile, just hook up and go, which means that we can provide events to smaller and distant communities at much shorter notice.
