The Waitakere City Council has recognised the contribution of the Ezekiel 33 Trust towards the people of West Auckland for the community events that it has put on.

The Portage Licensing Trust has given several awards to the Ezekiel 33 Trust for activities that it has funded.

Near the end of 2006 Infratil had the Infratil Awards in Auckland.
The Ezekiel 33 Trust was recognised for its services to the community and received an award.
Infratil is a company managed by HRL Morrison & Co that invests in infrastructure utilities, and has been working with the Waitakere City Council on options for Whenuapai Airport when the New Zealand Airforce will move away. The Public Works Act and Airport Authorities Act create some restraints on how the land can be used, but working around these to provide a working solution surrounding a Civilian Airport in West Auckland is likely to have major economic benefits for the businesses and people of West Auckland.
